Diane Depardon D'Agostino
From a young age, Diane Depardon believed life was full of endless possibilities. With a big smile and a problem-solving mindset, she pursued both architecture and engineering to bridge disciplines and connect people. Now a project manager at Bird Construction in Ontario, she’s known for uniting diverse teams. At just 24, she joined the Iqaluit airport project in the Canadian Arctic—an eye-opening, formative experience that deepened her love for construction and community. Passionate about inclusion, Diane also created the podcast Building Your Story to amplify women’s voices in the male-dominated construction industry. Told she needed to "toughen up" in this field, she chose instead to lead with her authentic self—and her smile.
